Het proefschrift, uitgegeven in de dissertatiereeks van de Landelijke Onderzoeksschool Taalwetenschap (LOT), heeft als titel “Mits.pp in context; constructievorming, expansie, reductie en betekenisontwikkeling van de combinatie mits + onvoltooid deelwoord (pp), periode 1450-1700.” \nHet corpus bestaat uit 300 authentieke, geïnterpreteerde tekstfragmenten uit de periode 1450-1700, geschreven in een van de taalvarianten die indertijd in de Lage Landen (Republiek der Nederlanden), Vlaanderen en Belgisch Brabant als schrijftaal gebruikt werden.
