In dit project onderzochten we de effecten van sociale isolatie op kwetsbare groepen in Nederland ten tijde van ‘de lockdown’ periode (van 15 maart 2020 tot 23 mei 2020) en de periode van ‘de versoepeling’ van de maatregelen tot het einde van het onderzoek (de periode na 23 mei 2020-1 juli 2020). Voor meer informatie zie ook www.coronatijden.nl.</p><p>In mei en juni/juli is online vragenlijst onderzoek uitgevoerd naar de gevolgen van sociale isolatie door het nieuwe coronavirus in verpleeghuizen en woonzorgcentra. Voor beide metingen zijn deelnemers (bewoners, familieleden en zorgmedewerkers) onafhankelijk van elkaar geworven. Data zijn op twee momenten online verzameld, beide metingen duurden vier weken. De deelnemers voor beide metingen zijn apart geworven, de deelnemers aan de tweede meting zijn niet per se dezelfde als in de eerste meting. Deze eerste meting vond zes tot tien weken nadat het bezoekverbod inging plaats (30 april-27 mei), de tweede meting startte ongeveer een week na afschaffing van het landelijke bezoekverbod (23 juni-21 juli). Zorgorganisaties werden per e-mail uitgenodigd voor de studie en gevraagd de informatie over de studie digitaal te verspreiden onder bewoners zonder cognitieve problematiek, en daarnaast onder familieleden betrokken bij alle bewoners en onder medewerkers uit de directe zorg. De informatie bevatte een link naar doelgroep-specifieke digitale vragenlijsten. Familieleden vulden de vragenlijst in over hun naaste in de woonvoorziening, zorgmedewerkers vulden de vragenlijst in over de afdeling waar zij (het meest) werken.
