Bovendien kon hij er doen waarvoor hij was opgeleid. Nog altijd heeft hij contact met de mannen van UNPROFOR. Het zijn vrienden voor het leven geworden. In Bosnië was hij schutter lange afstand en bewaakte het vliegveld van Tuzla. Het op wacht staan vond hij als militair van de luchtmobiel saai werk. Zijn legering in Simin Han bood meer actie. Hij liep patrouille langs de frontlinie en maakte een zware beschieting nabij de Sapna-duin mee. Hij vond het vooral geweldig spannend. De geïnterviewden hebben bijgedragen aan een schat aan informatie voor onder andere beleidsmakers, onderzoekers, media en het geïnteresseerde publiek.</p><p>Onderstaand treft u de links naar de metadata van alle interviews. De  interviews zijn om privacyredenen alleen na toestemming van het Veternanen Instituut toegankelijk.
