Hij kreeg het bevel terug te trekken en zwierf vijf dagen door de Betuwe. Na de capitulatie werd hij gedwongen te werken in Duitsland. Hij slaagde erin weg te lopen toen Berlijn gebombardeerd werd. De geïnterviewden hebben bijgedragen aan een schat aan informatie voor onder andere beleidsmakers, onderzoekers, media en het geïnteresseerde publiek.</p><p>Onderstaand treft u de links naar de metadata van alle interviews. De  interviews zijn om privacyredenen alleen na toestemming van het Veternanen Instituut toegankelijk.
