Zo ook de verschillen tussen bevolkingsgroepen in Nederland.<br>Deze verschillen brengt het SCP (onder andere) in kaart door middel van de enquête ‘Verschil in Nederland’. Dit onderzoek gaat over de verschillen in de leefsituaties van Nederlanders. Denk aan verschillen tussen groepen mensen in termen van inkomen, leeftijd, opleiding, gezondheid, cultuur en etniciteit. Naast objectieve aspecten staan ook percepties (de subjectieve beleving) centraal in het onderzoek: welke tegenstellingen percipiëren Nederlanders en waar plaatsen zij zichzelf op de maatschappelijke ladder?<br>Het onderzoek is voor het eerst uitgevoerd in 2014 (destijds ‘Sociale Scheidslijnen’ genoemd).<br>In het najaar van 2019 is de (huidige) vervolgmeting van ‘Verschil in Nederland’ gehouden.
