Haar vader is Joods en speelt als pianist in het voorprogramma van vele bioscopen. Met de Duitse matroos die zij ontmoet bij een tramhalte is het liefde op het eerste gezicht. Kort na de eerste ontmoeting raakt ze zwanger en ging bij haar aanstaande schoonouders in Duitsland wonen. Zij voelt zich daar erg ongelukkig. Omdat ze maandenlang niets van de vader van haar zoon hoort, besluit ze terug te gaan naar Nederland. Haar zoon laat ze achter bij haar schoonouders. Op de dag dat ze thuis in Rotterdam aankomt, wordt ze opgepakt door de OD en komt in een interneringskamp terecht. Later wordt zij in een katholiek opvoedingsgesticht voor meisjes geplaatst.</p><p>Haar Duitse geliefde is inmiddels uit krijgsgevangenschap ontslagen en stelt alles in het werk om contact met haar te krijgen. Twee jaar later zien ze elkaar terug. Mevrouw vertrekt weer naar Duitsland, trouwt en krijgt nog een zoon.<br>Zij woont nu nog in Duitsland.</p>\n\nToegang tot de files wordt verleend op voorwaarde dat de gegevens alleen voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek worden gebruikt.
