De geïnterviewde vertelt over de Japanse inval in Bandoeng, waar zij op dat moment woont. Haar man werd bij de Tjiater-stelling geplaatst en later krijgsgevangene gemaakt. De geïnterviewde vertelt over haar registratie als registratie als Belanda Indo waardoor ze buiten het kamp kan blijven. Tijdens de bezetting werkte ze voor een winkel te Malang die goed loopt. Na de bevrijding uitte de geïnterviewde haar pro-geallieerde houding en kwam in de Indonesische gevangenis terecht.</p><p>1664.2 De geïnterviewde vertelt over haar ervaringen van de bersiaptijd. Ze werd geïnterneerd en kwam in verschillende kampen terecht. Haar man was als KNIL officier betrokken bij de twee politionele actie. De geïnterviewde verblijft dan in Batavia. In 1949 vertrekt de geïnterviewde definitief naar Nederland.</p><p>De genoemde echtgenoot van de geïnterviewde is ook geïnterviewd voor het SMGI-project. Zie interview 1663. Men koos ervoor om geen onderzoeksproject op te zetten, maar om zich te concentreren op het verzamelen van de verhalen van mensen vanuit archiveringsoogpunt als basis voor toekomstig onderzoek.
