Hij zat bij de Koninklijke Marine. Hij vertelt over de opleidingen en de gang van zaken. Op de Zuiderkruis vertrok hij naar Indie. De geïnterviewde werd overgeplaatst en  voer een half jaar in de Riouwarchipel. De geïnterviewde werd regelmatig ingedeeld bij de mariniersbrigade waarvoor hij moest wachtlopen en patrouilleren. De marine vond hij een harde leerschool. De geïnterviewde heeft aan zijn uitzending PTSS overgehouden. De geïnterviewde vertelt over de werkzaamheden en beschrijft het leven aan boord. Vlak voordat hij terug naar huis mocht werd hij voor dienst in Nieuw-Guinea ingezet. Hij moest hier steeds patrouilleren. Hij vertelt over het vinden van Amerikaanse voorraden. De geïnterviewde werd overgeplaatst naar de MLD, hij beschrijft het verschil met de marine. De geïnterviewde reflecteert op zijn uitzending en heeft er spijt van. De geïnterviewden hebben bijgedragen aan een schat aan informatie voor onder andere beleidsmakers, onderzoekers, media en het geïnteresseerde publiek.</p><p>Onderstaand treft u de links naar de metadata van alle interviews.
