Het SCP voerde voor de coördinerend minister voor het lesbisch- en homo-emancipatiebeleid dit onderzoek uit. In de enquête is onder meer uitgebreid ingegaan op negatieve ervaringen en reacties die te maken hebben met de seksuele voorkeur. De steekproef voor de enquête in 2010 was via online en offline werving.<br>In 2011 zijn een aantal vragen uit de RV-enquête gesteld aan een selectie respondenten afkomstig uit een aselecte steekproef samengesteld panel. Doel van deze exercitie is om zicht te hebben op de mate waarin de gegevens van de Roze Vragenlijst - die met zelfaanmelding werkte - afwijken van de totale populatie.</p><p>Maart 2019 is in het kader van de AVG een aangepaste versie van het databestand bij DANS gedeponeerd. Variabelen met identificerende gegevens zijn ingedikt of verwijderd. Informatie over de aanpassing van de identificerende gegevens is te vinden bij de documentatie die geleverd is bij het databestand.
