Hij werkte op vliegveld Boeroekoe, en vertelt in het interview uitgebreid over de samenleving van Luchtmachtmensen en Mariniers op Nieuw Guinea en de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Later, in januari 1993, werd deze man opnieuw uitgezonden, maar nu als beroeps sergeant-majoor naar Cambodja, waar hij te werken kwam bij het onderdeel Movecon van de UNTAC-missie. De geïnterviewden hebben bijgedragen aan een schat aan informatie voor onder andere beleidsmakers, onderzoekers, media en het geïnteresseerde publiek.</p><p>Onderstaand treft u de links naar de metadata van alle interviews. De  interviews zijn om privacyredenen alleen na toestemming van het Veternanen Instituut toegankelijk.
