De geïnterviewde kwam op als dienstplichtige en tekende bij voor Cambodja. De geïnterviewde geeft zijn motivatie voor de uitzending. De geïnterviewde werd geplaatst bij de Mike compagnie bij Sok San. De geïnterviewde beschrijft de situatie na aankomst en het kamp. Het kamp lag dichtbij dat van de Witte Khmer. Een van de taken was het onderhouden van contacten met de strijdende partijen. In het gebied lagen overal mijnen. Het gevaar nam toe en het kamp werd verlaten. De geïnterviewde vertelt over de werkzaamheden en het radioverkeer. Terug in Nederland bemerkte de geïnterviewde psychische klachten. De nazorg was niet toereikend en pas later heeft de geïnterviewde zijn problemen een beetje een plek kunnen geven.<br><br>Met de geïnterviewde zijn twee of meer interviews gehouden. De geïnterviewden hebben bijgedragen aan een schat aan informatie voor onder andere beleidsmakers, onderzoekers, media en het geïnteresseerde publiek.</p><p>Onderstaand treft u de links naar de metadata van alle interviews. De  interviews zijn om privacyredenen alleen na toestemming van het Veternanen Instituut toegankelijk.
