Zij woonde op een onderneming in Indië. De geïnterviewde vertelt over de periode voor de oorlog. Ze vertelt over haar schooltijd en gaat in op haar werk, met name als lerares, en sociale leven in Indië hierna.</p><p>1188.2 De geïnterviewde vertelt verder over het leven van voor de oorlog. Ze gaat in op de rangen en standen in Indië. Zij vertelt over het lesmateriaal op scholen en beschrijft de verschillen tussen de scholen. Tijdens de bezetting bleef de geïnterviewde buiten kamp. Ze ontkwam nog maar net aan een aanval op de onderneming door extremisten. Eind 1945 ging zij weer lesgeven op een school. Men koos ervoor om geen onderzoeksproject op te zetten, maar om zich te concentreren op het verzamelen van de verhalen van mensen vanuit archiveringsoogpunt als basis voor toekomstig onderzoek.
