De geïnterviewde vertelt over zijn keuze voor een baan bij de PTT en gaat in op de censuurafdeling. Tijdens de bezetting werd de geïnterviewde als burger geïnterneerd. Na de bevrijding hoopte de geïnterviewde op een goede toekomst bij de PTT, maar dit liep anders, ook vanwege de overdracht. In 1952 vertrok de geïnterviewde naar Nederland.</p><p>1360.2 De geïnterviewde keerde in 1953 terug naar Indonesië. Hij was nu in dienst van een ander bedrijf. De geïnterviewde gaat in op de gang van zaken en vertelt over de nationalisatie. De geïnterviewde gaat in op het verschil in salariëring van Hollanders en Indonesiërs. Men koos ervoor om geen onderzoeksproject op te zetten, maar om zich te concentreren op het verzamelen van de verhalen van mensen vanuit archiveringsoogpunt als basis voor toekomstig onderzoek.
