De laatste jaren van de oorlog zat hij ondergedoken om geen dwangarbeid te hoeven verrichten. Na de bevrijding meldde hij zich voor inzet in Nederlands-Indië. Hij werd in Schotland opgeleid, bij de Mariniers te Roseneath, eerst tot tandartsassistent en later tot laborant. Hij testte of de jongens in hun bloed sporen hadden van syfilis. De geïnterviewden hebben bijgedragen aan een schat aan informatie voor onder andere beleidsmakers, onderzoekers, media en het geïnteresseerde publiek.</p><p>Onderstaand treft u de links naar de metadata van alle interviews. De  interviews zijn om privacyredenen alleen na toestemming van het Veternanen Instituut toegankelijk.
