De geïnterviewde werd uiteindelijk gearresteerd door Japanners en werd als burger geïnterneerd. De geïnterviewde vertelt over de situatie na de capitulatie, hij kwam te werken onder de Engelsen. De geïnterviewde maakte de tweede politionele actie mee. Men koos ervoor om geen onderzoeksproject op te zetten, maar om zich te concentreren op het verzamelen van de verhalen van mensen vanuit archiveringsoogpunt als basis voor toekomstig onderzoek.
