Hij werd daar ontslagen toen hij de Duitsers eten gaf. Daarna reageerde hij op een pamflet van de marine en werd naar Nederlands Indië verscheept, waar hij zijn huidige vrouw ontmoette, een Nederlandse verpleegster. Hij werkte daar op transport en in de bakkerij. De geïnterviewden hebben bijgedragen aan een schat aan informatie voor onder andere beleidsmakers, onderzoekers, media en het geïnteresseerde publiek.</p><p>Onderstaand treft u de links naar de metadata van alle interviews. De  interviews zijn om privacyredenen alleen na toestemming van het Veternanen Instituut toegankelijk.
